- LUND (Ranuum), Else Margretta
Born August 17, 1919, in Sellback, Norway, passed peacefully into her next journey at Northwood Terrace on February 22, 2015. Else immigrated to Canada with her husband Kaare in 1952 to Hantsport, where he worked at Fundy Gypsum as the sea captain on the SS Duchess until his retirement in 1979. Else dedicated her time to raising her two sons Jan and Peter, while fitting in time to play bridge with friends, learn English and being persistent she could play golf well. Else also loved hosting, boating and swimming with friends at her Black River Lake cottage in the Gaspereau Valley for many years before moving to Northwood Manor in 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Kaare; son, Jan Walter; brothers, Johand, Rolf and Odvar; sisters, Karne, Aagot, Raghnild, Ossa, Jenny, Ruth and Gerd.
