    Notes:

    Died:
    MILES, Reginald Stewart

June 27, 1968 July 6, 2019. On Saturday July 6th, Reg passed away in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He lives on in the lives he touched during his lifetime and in the lives he’s bettering as an organ and tissue donor. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Marjorie Miles; paternal grandparents, Stewart and Muriel Guptill; and uncle, Billy Thompson. Athletic in his youth, Reg excelled at numerous high school sports and studied Human Services at college in Bellville, Ont. He held various jobs over his lifetime ranging from teaching English and Physical Education in the North, construction, and silviculture. He was most happy and at peace working in the woods. A Celebration of Life will take place at one of Reg’s favourite spots, Penny Beach. Family and friends will gather on the beach in Avonport to remember Reggie on Saturday, September 14th at 4 p.m. If you’d like to honour Reg’s life, and in keeping with his spirit, we encourage you to do what he would do, a random act of kindness to make the world a better place.
