    Died:
ALLEN, William \'Dale\' — 53, of Melanson, Kings Co., passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Melanson, he was a son of Stephen and Maxine (Smith) Allen, Melanson. He had been employed as an arborist with Atlantic Arborists for a number of years.
In his younger years, Dale was an avid hockey player and later enjoyed watching his sons excel as they learned to play the game. Dale’s first love was horses and he enjoyed going for long walks in the woods and looking at nature’s beauty. He took great pleasure in just spending quiet times with his wife, reading or just talking. Dale took great pride in his sons and his grandchildren. He was very loved and will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Jason. A private family burial will take place in Melanson Mountain Cemetery.
