MILLER, George Robert 'Bob'
1930-2016. Age 85, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2016 in the Hants Community Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late Herbert and Maude Miller. He was a heavy equipment operator having worked at Fundy Gypsum and also in Halifax. He enjoyed his times at his cottage on Panuke Lake with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob liked to travel and has been in every province in Canada, some several times, also several states including Alaska. He also enjoyed going south in the winter. Bob liked to read and work in the flower gardens, watching sports and he was a very good carpenter. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Charlie and sister-in-law, Mary Miller and brother-in-law, Harry Turner. A private family interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery, King Street, Windsor. Family flowers only. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of your choice.
