She was born and raised in Liverpool, graduating from Liverpool Regional High School. She trained as a nurse at the Victo­ria General Hospi­tal, Class of 65A, and recently en­joyed attending her 45th reunion. She practiced for two years in Neu­rosurgery at the VG before taking on the full-time role of mother. The devotion to her husband, children, friends and community was evident and perform­ed with grace and great kindness. She was pre­deceased by her parents, Harold and Marion (Whynot) Armstrong; brother, Phillip and mother and father-in-law, Brian 'Ben' and Katharine (Clements) Alexander.
