    FOLKER, Flossie Tressa. 95, Hantsport-It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Flossie Tressa (Rushton) Folker on Friday, October 8, 2010. Born in Westchester Station, Cumberland County on February 7, 1915, she was a daughter of the late R. Bliss and Lena (King) Rushton. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge. Flossie is survived by one son, H. Wayne, his wife Carolyn, two daughters, Tanya Mounce, her husband Charles and Tamara (Doug Rehberg), all of Hantsport; fourteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harvey, son Grant, daughter Faye, four sisters Stella, Eva, Jenny and Sadie, and one brother Gerald Oswald (at age two months). Cremation has taken place, and there will be a Graveside Service for family only on October 10, 2010, at 2:00 pm, at the family plot at Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. No flowers please by family request. Donations in Flossie?¢s memory may be made to the Hantsport Fire Department. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS, B4P 1E7.     Mounce, Tanya Jean (nee Folker) – age 84 of Hantsport passed peacefully on December 1, 2020 at the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, Nova Scotia. Tanya was the daughter of the late Floss and Harvey Folker, Hantsport, NS. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Charles “Chuck” Andrew Mounce, brother Grant Folker and sister Faye Parker.

    The family would like to thank the staff of the Windsor Elms Village who have provided such loving care over the past, almost 3 years as well as the many friends who have given their love and support during this time.

    Stephen Grant Folker, 58 of Cambridge passed away in his home on July 20, 2017.

    He was born a special child and grew into a special person who touched the hearts of everyone he met. Stephen had to overcome many challenges but he did not want to be thought of by his \"disability\", he just wanted to be one of the boys.

    Stephen was an avid biker and a member of the Veteran Commandos Motorcycle Club. He was a true \"biker\", through and through loving the freedom of the ride. But, when the colder months came and he was not able to ride the open roads, he would let the creative side soar by drawing anything that came to his imagination or he would use his skills to carve beautiful artwork out of wood.

    Steve was a very talented man and a great husband; who loved his family and friends and was deeply loved by them. He will be greatly missed.

    Stephen was predeceased by his father Grant Beverly.

    All motorcyclists and enthusiasts are welcome to attend.
