    • SANFORD, Douglas Keith
Age 73, of Beaverbrook. Doug passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 16, 2014, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Hantsport, he was a son of the late Morien and Pearl (Benjamin) Sanford. He was predeceased by sisters, Julie Anne Sanford, Shirley Stevens; brother, Gordon. Doug worked most of his life as a bookkeeper in the Annapolis Valley. He was an avid fan of the Blue Jays and enjoyed fishing, lawn darts and peanut butter. He never turned down a good debate. (He was always right!) His wife, children, grandchildren and other family members always came first. He was loving, kind and generous. He will be sadly missed by his family.
