He had a passion for oxen and was a member of the Hants County Oxen Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling and playing pranks on friends and family. He was predeceased by infant son, Stanley Anthony \'Tony\'; sister, Betty States; infant sister, Hilda; brothers, Cecil, Robert, Keith \'Mickey\' and Donald.
