[1] - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Susan Patricia Weatherbee on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Wolfville at the age of 77.
Mom had many hobbies over the years which included knitting (we all had Lopi sweaters), crocheting, sewing, and cooking. Her love of cooking and baking led her to the restaurant industry. All of her hard work made it possible for her to own her own restaurant for several years. She was very well known for her sweet treats like donuts, egg tarts, chocolate cake and coconut cream pie. If you know, you know. She also enjoyed bingo and late night card games (right Dusten!). Our mother really enjoyed going to the beach, sitting and watching the waves. In later years her fall adventures with Sheila and Angie, travelling to beaches in PEI and from one end of Nova Scotia to the other.
Susan was predeceased by her mother, Hattie Wickinson, sister Milred (Gug), brother Lorne, chosen sister, Shirley Johnston, and her greatest loss, son, Jody.
