Gender Female Death 16 Dec 2021 Martin's River, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia [1] - It is with sadness yet gratitude for a life well-lived, we said “see you later” to Josephine at home on December 16, 2021 as she went to be with her Lord and family. Born to the late Lawson and Reta (Lyons) Schofield on October 1, 1926, on Ben Jackson Road, Lockhartville. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Proud sister to those gone before her, Ralph (Kay), Russell (Mable), Claude, Burnell (Mary), infant Schofield. Josephine was a devoted wife to the late Donald S. Beckwith (January 2015) for 52 years. A sincere thank you to the Lunenburg Queens Palliative Care Team and the VON for your care, respect and compassion. Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date and service details will be posted on Lindsay’s Funeral Home Website. Rev. Joseph Green will be officiating. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
