- It is with broken hearts we had to say goodbye to our brother, father, partner, and Gramps/Pup. Theodore Randolph Payzant (Randy) of Bishopville passed away in Falmouth on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the age of 62. Randy was born on July 10, 1963 to Joel Frances Payzant and Ethel Edna (Sanford) Payzant.
Randy worked for Kochnoff landscaping as a young man and then spent 30 years plus working his way up the manufacturing ladder at CKF Hantsport, Nova Scotia, where he was well known for his strong work ethic and easy-going spirit. Outside of work Randy enjoyed tug-of-war, four wheeling (with Mel) hunting at dad's camp and fishing. He was in his element, surrounded by the outdoors in good company. (Ron, Joe, Dennis, John, Ken and Brian) Those are just a few of Randy's buddies he enjoyed talking tales with.
Randy was predeceased by his parents, Joel and Ethel Payzant, sister Carolyn Payzant-Lyon, Nephews Marshall, and Jerry Lake.
Randy will be remembered for his humour, generosity, and willingness to always pull someone out of the mud (Sarah). He loved to share stories, lending a helping hand, and spending time with those he loved most.
Randy's down to earth kindness will live on in the memories of all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on October 1, 2025 at 5 PM at 48 Grey Mountain Rd. in Falmouth all are welcome to attend and honour Randy's life.
