- Donald Arthur "Don" MILLER — Hantsport
Of Hantsport, died July 29, 2022. Don was born January 7, 1935 to Herbert and Maude (Harvey) Miller of Windsor; the youngest of four kids, Charlie, Maxine, Robert “Bob” and Don. His father passed away when Don was in his mid-teens, so he worked to help his mother and family survive, as did they all. Don joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1953 and on April 23, 1955 he married the love of his life, Gwendolyn Rae Garland. Don was stationed in Gimli, Man., Greenwood and Shearwater, before his retirement after 25 years of service. He then worked for Home Hardware until retirement at the age of 80. Don loved playing golf, playing cards and family time, the more the merrier. Don was predeceased by his father and mother; and his brothers, Charlie and Bob. Don’s last wish, in lieu of flowers, please buy a stranger a coffee or support your local SPCA.
