    • B. Carlton Davies … 87, of New Minas, passed away Sunday, April 12,2009 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Hantsport, hew as a son of the late James and Ola (Lockhart) Davies. He was a mechanic by trade and in his earlier years repaired farm tractors.Later in life he was employed with Irving Oil, where he worked at maintenance on their trucks. He was an avid gardener. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deanna June. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home,Kentville, where visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 and where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, Reverend Robert Billings officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Riverbank Cemetery,Hantsport. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses … Home Care, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
