      Age 84, Halifax. Lilla passed away on Saturday March 14, 2020, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Windsor, on April 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Charles Roy and Beatrice (Hawkesworth) Kilcup. Lilla attended Normal College in Truro and taught in several schools in Hants County through her career, retiring from Falmouth Elementary. Lilla was married to Foppe (Sid) Siderius. Together they enjoyed going to local dances in Hantsport and at Tower Lights and traveled across Canada several times. Lilla enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching, walking and visiting with family for Christmas dinners and the annual family BBQ contests. Lilla especially enjoyed her time volunteering at the West Hants Historical Society. Her passion was genealogy and she left a legacy of research and stories for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Sid; and brother, Blye. Donations in Lilla’s memory may be made to the West Hants Historical Society, Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
