      Age 81, of Greenfield, Hants Co., passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family. Born on May 9, 1935, in Centre Rawdon, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Orrin I. and Marion Marjorie (Mitchell) Johnson. Sam lived all his adult life in Greenfield, and was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church. He was employed at Fundy Gypsum Company for over 41 years, having worked at all three plants, Hantsport, Windsor and Miller’s Creek, retiring in 2000. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Blaine; sisters, Ann Beckerleg and Janet Campbell; brothers, Atwood and Phillip.
