    • BURGESS, Charles Ira - 78, Mahone Bay, formerly of Bishopville, Hants Co. died Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, N.S.
      Born May 6, 1926 in Hantsport, Hants Co., he was the son of the late Earl and Jessie (Beckwith) Burgess.
      Charles was a gifted carpenter and was mostly self-employed. His Burgess Baby Barns, tables and lawn furniture, swinging chairs, and household carpentry were beautiful. He loved his family, nature, cats and cribbage. He also drove trucks and was a bus driver for MacKenzie Bus Lines.
      He was predeceased by his first wife, Hannah (Griffin) Burgess; a great-grandson, Cameron Roy Harvey.
