Born in Kennetcook on January 24, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Erskine and Adelaide Elizabeth (Densmore) White. Maxine and Stanton operated Green\'s Canteen for a number of years. She also worked at various businesses in Hantsport. Maxine was predeceased by husband, Stanton G.; a stillborn son and brother, Perry.
