Born in White Rock on March 3, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Schofield) Oickle. Predeceased by her parents; grandson, Caitlin; son-in-law, Lee Jack; husbands, Gerald Porter and Stuart Coldwell. In keeping with Iona’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. A family graveside service will be held in Greenfield Cemetery today, Thursday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Iona can be made to Greenfield Cemetery Fund or to the charity of donor’s choice.
