- James “Jim” Ernest Faulkner, Mt. Denson/Hantsport passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on December 9, 2022 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born November 9, 1933, in Mt. Denson, he was the eldest son of the late Everett and Irene (Peach) Faulkner.
Jim spent the majority of his working career as a carpenter, well known and much sought after for his expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. He was a charter member of the Hantsport Lions Club and a member of the St. Andrews Anglican Church. Together with his wife, Iris, in addition to raising their own family, they were foster parents to several children through the years. He was a true gentleman and was happiest spending time with his family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Vernon and Richard; and step-mother Pauline Faulkner.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23rd, at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Hantsport. Burial will take place in the Mount Denson Cemetery.
Donations in memory may be made to the Hantsport Lions Club or the Mt. Denson Cemetery.
