      Age 84 of South Side Harbour, Antigonish Co., passed away on March 17, 2017, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Boylston, he was a son of the late Clarence Bernard and Estella Mae (Myers) Jenkins. \'If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.\' Bernard spent over three decades working in Churchill Falls and then with Blackwood Hodge at the mines in Labrador City. Prior to that, he worked in the Maritimes with North-Eastern Terex. Bernard’s heart was never far from Guysborough, where he returned at every opportunity. His loyalty to his family and friends will be remembered always.
