Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late John and Lavinia (Gillott) Moore. Muriel was the last surviving member of her family. She loved her home and her gardens. Muriel loved flowers and was well-known for her many beautiful arrangements, some of which she won ribbons for at the Hants County Exhibition. She had worked for CKF Inc. and then several years at Avon Valley Greenhouses. Besides her parents, Muriel was predeceased by sisters, Katherine Spencer, Elsie Benedict, Mary Tanner, Frances Murphy, Doris Moore; brothers, Owen, Tim and Oliver.
