    • WADE, Kathryn Anne 'Kathy'
      Age 72, of Barrie, Ont., formerly of Hantsport, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29th, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Bernard \'Bun\' and Jennie (Rushton) McDonald. Kathy and Jerry belonged to the Canadian Rose Society and on July 1st every year she and her husband, Jerry, opened up their home and gardens for everyone to come and have a cup of tea and walk through their extensive beautiful rose gardens. She and Jerry had a great love for Collies. Kathy loved her worked at Base Borden and made friends with her co-workers and the clients she served. She will be remembered for her loving personality and wonderful sense of humour. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Riverbank Cemetery in Hantsport.
