- Doris May Hiltz, 93 of Kentville formally of West Brooklyn kings County passed away peacefully in her home as she wished, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Eva (Newcombe) Hiltz.
Doris was a house cleaner for many years serving families over Annapolis Valley, she enjoyed corresponding with penpals all over the world. She also loved knitting and knitted hundreds of mittens for the Kisman club for the Christmas Daddy’s every Christmas. She loved our big family gatherings and monthly visits from her nephew Rod Kerr.
Predeceased by her son Matthew, grandson Kris, three sisters; Blossom, Rosie, Elsie, two brothers Wilbert and Milton.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 9AM, at East Coast Memorial, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9, all are welcomed. A Graveside Service will be held following the visitation at West Brooklyn Cemetery Kings County, 4 W Brooklyn Rd, Wolfville, NS B4P 2R3, all are welcomed to attend.
