- NEWCOMB, Judith Dianne 'Judy' — 61, of Windsor, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family, after a 10-month battle with cancer. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of Olive (Barkhouse) Ripley and the late Carl Ripley. Judy worked for the Hants-Kings Business Development Centre. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 in Lohnes-DeMont Funeral Service Chapel, Rev. Dr. John Bartol officiating, with a reception to follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Burial will take place at a later date.
