- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Wade Sherman, 54, of Dartmouth on February 12, 2025, at the QEll.
Born in Middleton, he was the son of the late Lorne and Mary (Webber) Sherman. He grew up between Hantsport and Dartmouth, but his heart always belonged to Hantsport. He always wanted to move back to the valley where he was the happiest. He enjoyed fishing, even though he wasn’t able to go in recent years. His family, especially his boys, were the world to him.
Ron worked for many years cooking before moving into floor care. He took great pride in his work and was a bit of a perfectionist. He never left a floor until it was perfectly waxed and shining. In his down time and when he wasn’t fishing, he enjoyed music and movies. He loved his 80’s music and movies, with his favourite movie being “The Goonies”. He never tired of watching that or the Trailer Park Boys. He also loved space and watching the stars.
Besides is parents, he is predeceased by his brothers Eddie and Robert (in infancy), sisters Mary Ann, Tracy (in infancy) and Tina Smith.
A celebration of life will take place on March 1, 2025, from 12pm to 2pm at the Three Mile Plains Community Hall in Three Mile Plains.
