- Debbie Fitzgerald, age 62, of Hantsport, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 16th, 2024. She was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, on May 6th 1962. She was the daughter of Edward Fitzgerald and Shirley Barnaby.
Predeceased by her siblings, Wade FItzgerald, and Shirley Morine (Jim).
Debbie also loved her pets, her dogs: Titan, Soukie, Sasha, and her cat: Tequila. Her passion was to help all animals, she had volunteered with 9-Lives Rescue, and to help other people who might have been in need of help.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 1:00pm at Hantsport Baptist Church, 6 Willow Street, Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Rev. Jennifer Riley will be officiating. A reception will follow immediately after in the Wellwood Community Hall attached to the church. Internment will take place at a later date.
Donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to 9-Lives Rescue.
