    • MILES, Armenus - 88, Kentville, formerly of Avonport, died May 12, 1994 , in Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital, Wolfville. Born in Wallbrook Mountain, Kings County, he was a son of the late Armenus and Bessie (Messom ) Miles. For a number of years, he was employed as a foreman with the Town of Wolfville public works department and was a member of West Brooklyn Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Madeline Golar; two sons, Herman, Lesley; two daughters, Louise, Gloria; four brothers, Les, Hardy, Arthur, Nathan; six sisters, Gladys, Edna, Nancy, Agnes, Martha, Beatrice. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Wolfville, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Dora Green officiating. Burial will be in West Brooklyn Cemetery. Donations may be made to Heart and St roke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
