- It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Norman Peter Levick on June 3, 2019 after a three year battle with cancer. Born on September 28, 1948 to mother, Mary Beatrice Smardon and father, Arnold Levick. He was predeceased by his parents and half-brothers, Roger and Ernie, and beloved cousin, Theresa Keating, who he considered a sister. Norman’s priorities were family first. He was a hard-worker, and was employed with Fairley and Stevens for 28 years - thank you Charlie Giffon for all your compassion and assistance. Norman was soft-hearted and honest and could be relied upon to always help those in need. He loved movies and music, finding a deal at flea markets, his dog Bailey and his cats. Best of all he loved to disco dance at the surf club to the Echo’s, and at Fairley and Stevens Christmas dances. His only downfall was that he was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9th in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St. Happy stories, happy memories and laughter is encouraged as he would have wanted.
