  	Ernest Charles ROONEY — Hantsport It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad and grampie, Ernest Charles Rooney of Hantsport, on Monday, August 28, 2023, in Hants Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born August 18, 1935, in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Maurice and Margaret (Hoskins) Rooney. Dad retired from CKF after 36 years. He loved spending time with his family, going on vacations, playing cards, or staying at home. He had many “Happy Hours” with wonderful friends and was always up for a “good time”. Burial will take place in Parrsboro, at a later date.
