She was an adherent of the Anglican Church. She is survived by her husband, Cameron S.; a daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Ken Bryden), Halifax; two sons, Donald Sears, Hantsport; Leslie Sears, Halifax; a sister, Georgina Romans, Yarmouth; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six step-children. She was predeceased by four brothers, Marshall, Alex, Joseph and Benny; a sister, Lillian. The body is in J.A. Snow's Funeral Home, Halifax, visiting 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, Bruce Havill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
