- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Wayne Wilson “Gator or Spike”, age 56, of Hantsport, Hants County, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at home.
Born on December 9, 1965 in Windsor, Nova Scotia, he was the son of Margaret Wilson, and his grandparents Linda Wilson and Reg Spencer who helped raise him.
He was predeceased by a brother, Allan in infancy.
Doug was a kind and caring person, who was a friend to all. His best friend Barrie Lowthers was like a brother to him and will miss him dearly. Doug didn’t have life easy as you all know his eyesight wasn’t the greatest, but he would still drive his bike from Hantsport to Windsor.
The family would like to thank Kevin and Margaret Bonn, Frank Tracey, Laura Gage and family for helping Doug.
Go rest high on that mountain Doug, your troubles are over. Rest easy, we will miss you dearly.
