- Mary E. (Flynn) Frizzell, age 89, of Brockton, died peacefully July 19, 2012 at West Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a period of failing health. She was the devoted and loving wife for 63 years of Russell E. Frizzell, Sr. Born and raised in Brockton, Mary was the daughter of the late Louis and Jennie M. (Dorgan) Flynn. She was a 1941 graduate of Brockton High School and worked many years for the Brockton School Department where she was a Teachers Aide at the Downey and Gilmore Schools. Mary had a close relationship for many years with the Sisters of St. Joseph at Cardinal Spellman High School and was a longtime and active communicant of St. Colman Church. She was an avid reader, bird watcher, enjoyed calligraphy, especially designing award certificates for local little leagues and was a member of the 10 x 3 Bowling League of Brockton for many years.
