Age 67, of Lockhartville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born June 10, 1952 to Rennie (Tingey) Underwood, Garnet was raised by his grandparents, the late Owen and Lorena Underwood, as well as his special aunt, the late Phyllis Williams, who he had an undying love for.
Garnet worked for over 30 years as an employee of CKF in Hantsport. He was also an avid musician and was a member of the band Chairmen of the Blues. Garnet had a great love for blues, rock and roll, and his beloved boxers.
Besides his grandparents and aforementioned aunt, Garnet was predeceased by aunt, Vivian Oliver; uncles, Louis, Owen and Theodore Underwood.
A private family graveside service will also be held at a later date in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
