- Arnold Leroy Barker,76, Wentworth Road, Hants County, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 26, 2003. Born in the family home at Curry\'s Corner, Arnold was the son of the late Harold Jackson, and Georgia (O\'Toole) Barker. He was employed with Fundy Gypsum Company for 40 years and worked for F. H. Dodge and R.G. Smith as well. He was also a volunteer with the Curry\'s Corner Fire Department. Arnold enjoyed entertaining family and friends with his storytelling and jokes, he could always be called upon to fix things for other people, and he especially enjoyed his luncheons with Claire at the Casino. He was predeceased by grandsons, Justin Scott Burgess, and Neal Stephen Walsh; brother, Owen; sister, Helen Rourke. Visitation will be held 2-4pm and 7-9pm Sunday, December 28, in Lohnes~Beazley Family Funeral Home, 419 Albert St., Windsor. Funeral service will be held in Windsor United Church, at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 29, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Interment in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
