- O’BRIEN, Richard Joseph — 37, of Bishopville, Kings Co., passed away Friday, July 30, 2010, as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident on the Bishopville Road, Hantsport. Born on October 6, 1972, in Fitchburg, Mass., he was a son of Joan Loretta (Peters) Foster, (Bryce), Bishopville and Richard O’Brien, Springville, Vt. Richard was a self-employed carpenter who recently returned to Glooscap First Nation to be closer to family. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and the company of friends and family. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He was predeceased by his younger, loving sister, Bernadette O’Brien. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Reception to follow in Glooscap Community Centre, Bishopville.
