    Geraldine Elizabeth "Gerry" SINGLETON — Hants Border

    Age 77 of Hants Border, Kings Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 in her home with her loved ones by her side. Born May 6, 1945, she was the youngest daughter of the late Currie and Ethel (Eldridge) Armstrong. Gerry worked for ScotiaBank in Hantsport for over 30 years as a Personal Banking Officer. She was also the president of the Hants Border Community Hall for many years, here she acquired and worked with many lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, Gerry was predeceased by sisters, Harriett Bishop (2002) and Marion Armstrong (1962); and her only brother, Morris Armstrong (2022). The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, Palliative Care Team, VON, Home Care staff, and many others who have see to Gerry’s care of the last number of years, as well as the many friends who brought food to the house in her time of need. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 18th at 2 p.m. in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
