James (Jim) Owen Moore, born on February 10, 1945, in Mt Denson, passed away on February 3, 2024, at Dykeland Lodge in Windsor. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He was predeceased by his parents Muriel (Benedict) and Owen Moore, his brother Allan, and brother-in-law Gordon.

In his youth, Jim joined the cadets and later rose to the rank of commanding officer. Throughout his life, he held various positions, including at Minas Basin, as a manager of the credit union, and as the owner/operator of Galaxy 2000 arcade in Windsor. He also managed Sears and, later in life, returned to college, graduating from Compu College with a bookkeeping diploma. He was the valedictorian of his class, a source of immense pride for him. Jim went on to work in the office at Windsor Elms and, after retiring, briefly worked at Atlantic Superstore in Windsor.

Jim had a passion for quilting and crafting, and he found joy in traveling throughout the province and making trips to the USA. He adored his furbabies and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral service. Donations in Jim's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.

Jim's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was cherished and loved by so many.
