DAVISON (Ells), Bernita Norma — 88, formerly of Hantsport, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013, in Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Un­til his passing in 2011, she was the be­loved and devoted wife of Donald \'Duck\' Davison for 64 years. Born in White Rock on November 20, 1924, she was a daughter of the late J. Gordon and Ella (Long) Ells. She moved with her family to Hantsport in 1938. She was a member of Hantsport Baptist Church, Young People’s Group, C.G.I.T. She was a faithful member of the Kings Daughter’s Class of the Bap­tist Church and a past member of WMS. She was a Past Noble Grand o f Helping Hand Rebekah Lodge, Past President and untiring worker of the Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion 109, member of Hantsport His­torical Society, Hantsport Elders and Minas Waves, Lockhartville. She could be found visiting the sick and shut-ins. She was prede­ceased by her husband, Donald P. \'Duck\' Davison (December 19, 2011); and sisters, Doris Clayton and Helen Davidson. A grave­side service, open to everyone, will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 4, in Riv­erbank Cemetery, Hantsport, Rev. Daniel Jamer officiating. A reception will follow in Hantsport Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
