ARMSTRONG, Evelyn Elizabeth — 103, of Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, for­merly of Falmouth, Hants Co., passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Dykeland Lodge, where she was a resident for the last 16 years. Born on January 7, 1908, in Robbinsdale, Minn., she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Elizabeth Ellen (Lan­gille) Tattrie. Evelyn graduated from Colchester Academy in 1927, and from Nova Scotia Normal College, Truro, in 1929. She was a school teach­er for over 32 years, having taught at Milford Station, Melanson, Hantsport, Falmouth, Windsor Academy, Wind­sor Regional and retired from Wind­sor Elementary School. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Lawrence Churchill Armstrong (1972); sister, Sylvia Stevens; brother, Royal \'Roy\' Tattrie; nephew, Frederick \'Fred\' Stevens. Interment will be in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth.
