    Danny Manson Sanford
Age 75, of Hantsport, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 4, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Morien and Pearl (Benjamin) Sanford.

He bowled every Thursday night for many years as part of a league. His favorite baseball team was the Toronto Blue Jays and hockey team the Toronto Maple Leafs. Danny enjoyed spending time with his family at Whalen and Sunken Lakes, having a good ol’ game of lawn darts, washers and mini golf. He was very dedicated to his sobriety program and often driving people to many meetings in different towns on a daily basis. He was so proud of his 21 years of sobriety accomplishment. He was a kind man with a warm heart who always had a good story to tell, so if you wanted it to be kept a secret you didn’t tell Dan! Dan was a member of the Hantsport Lions Club for a few years. Died:
    Mona Mabel Sanford

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dearest beloved mother who died suddenly Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Hants Community Hospital, after a long battle with COPD. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Earl Blanchard and Mabel Dorothy (Cox) Bonn. Mona was married to her late husband, Danny, for 54 years where they settled in Hantsport. She was an active member of Hantsport United Church and worked at CKF for over 25 years. In the early years, Mona loved going out to dances. She was on the Hantsport women's bowling team. Mona loved the Toronto Blue Jays, crocheting, attending family gatherings, and enjoyed playing lawn darts. She loved her grandsons and would often attend their sporting events. Mona had an infectious laugh and her little sayings brought so much laughter to those who knew her. She had a heart of gold, would warm your heart and was our rock. At the age of 53, Mona got her grade 12 GED. She was a role model for her family and understood the value of education, hard work, saving for a raining day and making sacrifices for her family. Over the last few years, Mona enjoyed spending time on her iPad, playing games online with her sister and sister-in-law, connecting with family and friends, and listening to live music on Facebook. She will be sadly missed. She made a big impact on our lives. We are the daughters we are today because of you, Mom. We love you and you'll always be with us. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Danny; brother, Leonard Bonn; son-in-law, Micheal Montgomery. A public graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 11 a.m. in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating.
