    Age 87, of Revera Robertson House, Nepean, formerly of Richmond Hill, ON, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2019, with her daughter Karen by her side. Born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, on September 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Elsie (Powers) Chase and devoted wife of the late Harold Stanley Robinson. Verna had many interests which included gardening, knitting, crocheting, baking and cake-decorating for family gatherings and she especially enjoyed traveling. Verna worked as a secretary for over 42 years, and ended her career as the Base Commander's secretary at CFB Toronto. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Cecil Chase, and first husband and father of her three children, Whitney Lutz, and stepdaughter, Debbie Lawler. Verna will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
