Wood, David William age 70 of Mt. Denson passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Hants Community Hospital.

Born February 6, 1952 in Windsor, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Sandford) Wood.

Besides his parents, David is predeceased by his son David Shawn, daughter Lisa McLellan and sister Debbie Hood.

David lived each day to the fullest always lending a helping hand to others. He was dedicated to his family and friends by giving his time to them. His love for the outdoors shone through the hours that he spent on his gardens and lawn as there was never a blade of grass out of place. It was not uncommon for David to be seen neatly manicuring his neighbours properties out of kindness.
David was a volunteer member of the West Hants Search and Rescue for 25 years. He loved his career as a logsman, as he was able to spend the majority of his time out in nature. He had been employed with Barrett Enterprise for 25 years and in the recent years with Bryson Developments helping with landscaping.

Donations in David's honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care unit at the Hants Community Hospital.
