    Age 77, of Falmouth, formerly of Bedford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Scotland in 1942, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Aird) Weir. Andrew was a civil engineer for over 40 years. He moved to Canada with his wife Margaret in 2009. He was a member of North Brook Chapel in Dartmouth and enjoyed a number of years of fellowship there. He was known for his sincere Christian beliefs from a very early age. He was an elder for many years and was known to give wise counsel. He was also a Sunday school and youth leader. Andrew organized weekly gospel events for his local community and enjoyed singing very much. A private family graveside will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. A public funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 27th at 2 p.m. in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Rob Heffernan officiating.
