SIMMS, Arthur Gordon \'Art\' — Age 90, of Hants Border, Kings Co., passed away Friday, August 12, 2011, in Hants Community Hos­pital, Windsor. Born on June 23, 1921, in Liverpool, Queens Co., he was a son of the late Cameron and Eva (Francis) Simms. Art was a veteran of the Second World War and fought in Holland and Italy. He was a member and served as president for several years of Hantsport Lucknow Branch 109 Royal Canadian Legion. Art was a war­den of Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church, Hantsport. He enjoyed going to the dances and Tim Hortons. Predeceased by his wife, the former Cleo Warrington; his beloved friend and companion, Elsie Robertson; stepdaughter, Helen Po­well; sisters, Beatrice Brozivic, Mar­garet Wayne; brothers, Churchill Simms and Eldridge Simms.
