VAUGHAN, Richard Lee Sr. \"Rick\"

Age 62, of Windsor, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at home. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of Shirley (Vaughan) Skipper, Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth.

Rick was a former member of the Windsor Fire Department and was a former member of Hants County Branch No. 009, Windsor and current member of Calais Branch No. 162, Lower Sackville of the Royal Canadian Legion. He loved hunting, singing, dancing, his cat \"Charlie\" and his old car, his 1984 Camaro. Rick especially loved playing with his grandchildren, even when they would paint his nails. He will be sadly missed by all.

SKIPPER, Shirley Seva

Age 85, of Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth, passed away peacefully August 1, 2019, with family by her side. Born April 17, 1934 in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Leora (Tracey) and James Vaughan. Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her son, Richard Vaughan; sisters, Gwen Crane, Christine Boudreau and infant sister, Sylvia; brothers, Arthur, Leo and Clyde. Shirley grew up in a large family who loved to gather for music and laughter. She always made sure there was always room for one more at the dinner table. Shirley had an impact on everyone she met and will be dearly missed by many. Special thanks to the staff at Windsor Elms for all their loving care of Shirley.

James married Leora May Tracey on 23 Dec 1922 in Hantsport, Hants, Nova Scotia. Leora (daughter of Edward Elisha Tracey and Osa Ann Davidson) was born on 3 Apr 1902 in Lockhartville, Kings, Nova Scotia; died on 17 Jan 1968 in Windsor, Hants, Nova Scotia; was buried in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, Hants, Nova Scotia.
