- Cosman, Bradford Robie Buris, aged 72, passed away peacefully after a two year battle with colon cancer, with his loving wife Lorna by his side, on November 18, 2020 at QEII VG Site, 7A Unit, Halifax, NS.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Laurence and Phyllis (MacLeod) Cosman. He grew up in Avonport and moved to Halifax when he was 20.
Bradford worked at Haliburtons Farm in Avonport then worked at Camphill Hospital as a baker. He was an avid jogger and would jog for miles, stopping at Tim Horton's along the way in Shearwater. He loved yard work, carpentry work and sitting on his deck listening to music (and loud). He enjoyed phone conversations with his brother Randy, talking about old times. Brad was a man of strong faith, and attended Regal Heights Baptist Church in Dartmouth.
Aside from his parents he is predeceased by brothers Michael and Kevin; sister-in-law Monique Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caregivers and workers at the QEII - VG Site and VON as well as those who visited and called him throughout his illness.
