SCHOFIELD, Mary Maxine
Age 77, of Hants Border, Kings Co., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Currys Corner, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Kathleen (Haley) Frank. Mary was well-loved by many and always had a smile and a kind word for anyone who was fortunate enough to have met her. She was a bright light for many and was known for her infectious laugh; her caring and generous spirit. Mary loved life and was happiest when she was doing the things she loved and with those she loved. She was an avid bowler as well as a proud and active Red Hatter but the thing she looked forward to the most was spending time at her trailer at Ponhook Lake with her adopted summer family. Every day with Mary was an adventure. She was fortunate enough to have been able to travel with friends and family and had one of her greatest adventures in Costa Rica. Mary was employed at CKF Inc., Hantsport, for 32 years. She was an active member of Lockhartville Baptist Church. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Kathleen Frank; husband, Burnell Schofield (2010); brother, Michael Frank.
