Adored by her friends and family, Thelma was born May 20th, 1928, in Truro, Nova Scotia. She earned a Bachelor of Science with Home Economics from Acadia University, majoring in Nutritional Sciences, and her family and friends were the grateful beneficiaries of her training. She spread love, loyalty, generosity, compassion and respect everywhere she went, and loved finding a good bargain. She battled cancer with intrepid grace, determination and humour, which further endeared her to her family and medical team.
