    Our sweet mother, Nannie and Great Nannie, Mary Irene (Churchill) West born in Hantsport, June 3, 1922 passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Ivany Place in Bedford. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Muriel (Cochrane) Churchill; husband, John Malcolm West; son, Wayne Parker West; brothers, Maxwell and Winston Churchill; and her little dog Missy (December 2019). Mary was very active in her younger years (not so long ago). She enjoyed golfing, playing darts, line dancing, square dancing, walking and bowling all with her beloved husband, Mac. She was an artist in every respect - knitting, quilting, painting, embroidery, decoupage, and sewing just to name a few. She served for many years with the UCW at Knox United Church. She was quiet and humble but also possessed a good sense of humor and quick wit. She was loved by everyone. Service will be held in Sackville United Baptist Church, 1240 Old Sackville Rd., Middle Sackville on Thursday, January 9th at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport for the immediate family only.
