KING, Leah May — Formerly of Lockhartville, Kings Co., passed away peacefully in Grandview Manor, Berwick on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the age of 95. Born in Lockhartville, she was a daughter of the late George and Eva (Boyd) Tracey. Leah was an active member of the Lockhartville community and church, serving on committees, choir, Sunday school and sewing circle. She was an avid quilter who took great pride in her work and was a charter member of the Minas Waves Seniors. She and her husband, Jetney enjoyed raising their own vegetables and she never missed an opportunity to pick fresh fruit, ensuring her freezer and cupboards were always full with delicious jams, preserves and desserts. Leah loved preparing meals and treats for family, boarders and friends. With her ready wit and great sense of humour, Leah was always ready to have a good time. She loved music and she and Jetney enjoyed playing cards and dancing into their 80s. She was predeceased by her husband, Justin \'Jetney\'; siblings, Gladys (Shaw), Russ, Mert, George and Glen Tracey; and half-brother, Murray Penny.
